Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator

Location: New York, NY 10037

Duration: 14 Weeks Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Educator (RN) to support clinical education and staff development within a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong acute care experience and a passion for teaching and mentoring nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education, training, and mentorship to nursing staff
• Develop and deliver evidence-based educational programs
• Support competency assessments and clinical skill validation
• Collaborate with leadership to improve clinical practice standards
• Assist in onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff
• Promote best practices in patient care across assigned units
• Serve as a clinical resource for Med/Surg, ED, and ICU teams

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg clinical experience
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Verification of RN license and registration through NYSED
• Strong clinical foundation in acute care nursing

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Nurse Educator experience
• Background in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) strongly preferred

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
