The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated Prosthetist to join our Northmead clinical team and help make a difference in the lives of our clients. If you have a passion for providing quality prosthetic care, enjoy collaborating and are ready to grow in your career, this is the role for you!

As the successful applicant, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with clinical teams, healthcare providers, and clients to deliver care within your scope.
• Develop and manage client care plans, collecting and assessing relevant information to meet goals.
• Cast, modify, fit, and evaluate prostheses to ensure they achieve desired outcomes.
• Attend amputee clinics and collaborate with specialists to prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Communicate with the technical team to assist with prosthesis manufacturing and ensure quality.
• Follow safety protocols, minimise risks, and maintain clean and organised work areas.
• Maintain accurate client records and adhere to funding, administrative, and reporting requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and ensure all actions align with company values and policies.

You may have all or some of the following skills/experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Prosthetics & Orthotics or equivalent
• Current membership with the Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (preferred)
• Strong focus on patient care with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work well within a team and handle a variety of technical and clinical tasks
• Proactive approach and a commitment to continuous learning

Please note this role is based onsite at our Northmead Clinic with occasional travel to other clinics when required.
