Job Title: Assembler

Description:

We are seeking an Assembler to join our high-volume manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The role involves assembling components and related parts with precision and efficiency, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and associated parts according to specifications.
• Perform material movement, including placing parts in fixtures and handling components safely.
• Operate and monitor automation equipment as required.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively in the assembly process.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Experience in general production or manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work on a production line and meet daily output goals.

Additional Qualifications:

• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical work preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools in a production setting.

Experience Level:

Entry-Level – Training provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
