Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and various projects around the shop. Responsibilities

• Empty chip hoppers using a forklift
• Sweep floors and operate the street sweeper
• Empty trash throughout the shop
• Assist with plant maintenance, including painting and cleaning machines
• Support other departments as needed
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications

• Must be safety conscious
• Self-motivated and able to follow directions and procedures
• Willingness to assist other departments as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as required
• Comfortable working in environments with moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and moderate noise

Compensation

$16.00 – $17.00 per hour for day shift (6:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday; 4 ten-hour shifts)
