We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Financial Risk Data Analyst to join our Financial Risk team. This is not a traditional reporting role. In this position, you will focus on building, automating, and continuously improving the data infrastructure and processes that underpin financial risk analytics and regulatory reporting. Working closely with the Financial Risk Manager and the CRO, you will help transform risk management from manual workflows into a scalable, data-driven, and automation-focused framework.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (SQL / Python) for financial risk and regulatory reporting 
  • Automate and improve processes for capital adequacy, liquidity metrics (LCR/NSFR), leverage ratio, and large exposures 
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability, and robustness across risk systems 
  • Collaborate on risk analytics, ad-hoc analyses, and projects related to existing and new products 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual controls and reporting workflows 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our risk data architecture and tooling landscape 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, or a related field 
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in risk, data analytics, fintech, banking, or data infrastructure
  • Strong hands-on programming skills in SQL and Python 
  • Experience with data pipelines, modelling, or data infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of financial products (e.g., futures, options, swaps) and/or risk concepts 
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently in a small, high-impact team 
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks is a plus 
  • Crypto / digital assets exposure is a plus 
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus 
  • Self-driven, hands-on, and execution-oriented personality
