Job Summary:

The Experienced Golf Course Irrigation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation systems. Daily management will include observation and operations of all irrigation related tasks and maintenance. Performance of repairs and managing special projects as needed. Successful candidates will be willing to learn and develop as a leader.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.55/hr
  • Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, monitor and program all facets of the irrigation system including: irrigation heads, controllers, PVC pipe, HDPE pipe, valves, pumps and injection units.
  • Ability to complete work assignments in a clean and timely manner.
  • Enforces safe working conditions with all assignments related to his or her expected tasks.
  • Constantly monitors the irrigation system and reports problems and conditions to the First Assistant and/or Superintendent.
  • Ensures proper use, cleanliness, and security of maintenance facilities and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

  • Advanced working knowledge of irrigation system installation, repair and troubleshooting
  • Requires knowledge of agronomy and turfgrass management practices
  • Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in irrigation repair and installation, as well as general golf course maintenance procedures.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.55/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
