Overview of the Position: Title: Homeroom Teacher Department: Faculty Reports to: Assistant Principal/Principal Job Description The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, has an opening for a teacher of Spanish for the Elementary, Intermediate and Middle Level grades. The Spanish teacher will work closely with a teaching team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in and passion for Spanish language and culture, with an ability to engage students in an appreciation for both. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree in Spanish or education, will hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have strong instructional experiences.
