job summary:
An Electrical Superintendent is needed for a leading EPC organization for a long-term industrial project near Muncie, IN. The successful candidate will provide essential on-site administrative and technical management for all electrical and instrumentation field construction activities. This 9+ month contract offers a strategic leadership role with per-diem available for qualified individuals.
Qualified candidates must possess over 10 years of electrical construction experience within heavy industrial environments, specifically refineries, chemical plants, or paper mills. You must have at least 3+ years of dedicated experience as an Electrical or I&E Construction Superintendent. A proven track record of managing complex electrical activities for large-scale industrial facilities is required.

responsibilities:
- Manage on-site administrative and technical tasks for all electrical field construction activities
- Supervise electrical contractors to ensure the project remains on schedule, within budget, and aligned with designs
- Inspect and verify subcontractor compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Oversee the entire construction effort, including craft productivity and efficient equipment utilization
- Manage materials, scheduling, and contractual performance to optimize project outcomes
- Interface effectively with client representatives, engineers, and other contractors
