Job Description

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find CNC Machinists/Operator for a manufacturing facility located in Manor, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
• Setting up machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tooling.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine issues.
• Using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Following all company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Supporting team members and supervisors with daily production needs.

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to safely operate CNC equipment and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and shop safety practices.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Perks:

• Pay ranges from $24–$32+ per hour (based on experience).
• Two schedule options available:
  • Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:30 AM (Fridays off, occasional overtime)
  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
