S4L Partners is a specialized recruiting agency partnering with 50+ high-growth freight brokerages across North America. We are currently representing a fast-growing, asset-backed 3PL seeking experienced logistics professionals ready to grow their impact and earning potential.
This opportunity is built for driven operators who want strong operational support, real volume, and the ability to take ownership of their role without unnecessary corporate red tape.
Join a company thatâs redefining what success looks like in carrier sales, where youâre not fighting for scraps, but instead working with real freight, building strong partnerships, and contributing to a business thatâs scaling fast.
About the Role
Weâre hiring a Carrier Procurement Specialist  to take ownership of carrier relationships and ensure freight moves efficiently across flatbed, van, and drayage lanes.
This is not an entry-level role. Youâll be trusted to manage your own book of carriers, negotiate rates, and directly impact margin and service performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy negotiating, and take pride in operational precision, this role is built for you.
What Youâll Do
Own flatbed coverage while supporting van, reefer, and drayage freight
Source, onboard, and develop strong carrier relationships
Negotiate rates to maximize margin while maintaining service quality
Manage day-to-day execution inside the TMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Partner closely with sales to identify capacity solutions and unlock new opportunities
Proactively solve capacity challenges and keep freight moving without disruption
What Weâre Looking For
1â3+ years of carrier sales/procurement experience at a brokerage (flatbed strongly preferred)
Exposure to drayage is a plus
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to manage margin
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
Comfortable working in TMS/CRM systems with minimal oversight
Competitive, resourceful, and results-driven mindset
