Box Truck Driver/Van Driver (FT/PT)

Full-time & Part-time Van Driver for Atlanta Metro area / Warehouse Position available.


Salary: $22.00-$25.00/hour depending on experience .

You must have driving experience or warehouse experience to be considered.

Job Description:
Our company is searching for an experienced box truck driver to join our team in our Atlanta-based wholesale food distribution warehouse. We need an ambitious individual who enjoys driving and communicating with our customers using friendly communication skills. We appreciate accuracy above all else, so we require an individual who can pay careful attention to detail, and follow directions when completing a task. Our company offers competitive hourly pay and an in-house training program for applicants.

 
Warehouse responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Pack and load orders on trucks in an orderly manner for efficient and organized delivery.
• Complete daily delivery route as assigned by supervisor.
• Stock and rotate products as needed.
• Identify damaged, spoiled, lost or missing products and notify the supervisor immediately.
• Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.
• Treat products with care and concern at all times.
• Complete daily truck log report; report condition of the truck, mileage, gas, etc.
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED.
• GA Driver's License.
• DOT/Medical Exam Card is a plus but not required.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 7 years.
• 1+ years of experience driving commercial trucks.
• Ability to work on feet and lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean background check.
• Conversational fluency in English. Must be able to read invoices and other written instructions.
