The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the foundation team. This position coordinates calendars and meetings, prepares professional communications and materials, assists with travel and event logistics, and helps support board activities and foundation initiatives. The role interacts regularly with colleagues across the University of Alaska system and plays an important part in keeping projects organized and moving forward.

This role is based in Anchorage and works standard business hours while supporting activities across the University of Alaska Foundation and university system.

Successful candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You should enjoy supporting a collaborative team and take pride in producing professional, accurate work.

• Work independently while also supporting collaborative team efforts.
• Quickly learn administrative systems and technology tools used to support operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduation and three years of progressively responsible administrative or office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and  full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the  UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 77, based on education and experience.
